Q: Why am I not given the option to nominate a person for member of the week?

A: Do you know?

Roxanne is a rescue Schnauzer. My friend found her in another state, but knew she was "the one" to help heal a recent loss in her life. They rescued each other, actually.

I took this photo with my new Canon F4 70-200 L IS USM lens. Just opened the box this afternoon and still can't believe I have it. If anyone else out there sees this who also has that lens, let me know. I think I'm going to love it. It's so lightweight compared to the 2.8. It was hard for me to decide between the 2.8 and the 4.0. In the end, the lighter weight was the deciding factor. I hope I made the right decision. Think I did. It was also a lot cheaper than the 2.8. It had great reviews. I can't wait to play with it.

What a sweet dog and a beautiful portrait!! Judging from this picture, you picked the camera that is your perfect match. Excellent.

I still have my Canon 50D body. Just added a new lens. So far, I am LOVING it. It's so lightweight for a 200 mm lens, but so well built. It's supposed ot be cloudy and storms this weekend, drat. I can't wait to get out with some beautiful light and take some new pictures with it. Well, maybe I'll take some rain shots. I have a "hoodie" for the lens that keeps it dry. We'll see what develops, lol.
