The Henri Cartier-Bresson theme inspired me to do a photo essay on my growing collection of Italian people images. This is a drive-by shot that I recently captured on the main street of Monterosi, the Italian village where Fred and I currently live. Because of moments like this, I never go anywhere in Italy without a camera. I never learned to drive a stick shift and can’t handle the way many Italians drive, so whenever I’m in a vehicle I’m there as a passenger. One advantage of that is I can attempt to capture fleeting images such as this.
Note: Please check out the essay. Next week I'll add more shots to it.
In the Revealing Italian Threads photo essay.
