The Henri Cartier-Bresson theme inspired me to do a photo essay on my growing collection of Italian people images.I laughed and was so thankful that I at least had my small digital camera with me when I spotted this shepherd talking on a cell phone while leading his herd of sheep. As they came towards Fred and me on the Italian country road between Bracciano Lake and Monterosi (where we live), Fred stopped the car and said, “Deb, get out in the road and take pictures. The sheep will just walk around you.” Sure enough that’s exactly what they did as I snapped one shot after another, feeling like a kid at Disneyland.
Note: Please check out the essay. Next week I'll add more shots to it.
