As we stopped to stretch our legs on our way to Climb White Mesa in Arizona, I heard the gurgling sounds of running water, so I made sure I had my trusty camera and headed off to perhaps take a few nature photos, as I can never get enough, even though the hike would yield literaly hundreds of photos.
The image I humbly present to you shows a cold and crisp stream of runoff from the spring melt that was usual for this time of year. The multitude of rocks are resting in the now gently running water waiting to be carried further along their journey when circumstances permit. The large red rock at the top just left of center seems out of place amongst the other white/gray stones and I wondered at the awesome forges of nature that bought these stones to this point in their journey. It was a peaceful and sweet smelling place devoidof any human hand. I was careful to not slip and fall off the rock I was balanced on, and fall into the cold water and jepoardize my little camera and prescious images it contained.
