Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

The Dominican Republic's Outback Safari tour was a fantastic day out and a real insight to the 'real' Dominican ways of life. From a typical house, a sponsored school, local rum shack, secluded beach and a fruit plantation we say and learned a great deal about this wonderful island. One stop on the tour was this river in the Puerto Plata area where we had a quick swim to cool off. The locals were washing their clothes and the motorbike in foreground was being carefully washed.
