Water is a rare site in the desert, and water falls are even more scarce. However, when we get snow in the high country it has to go somewhere when it melts. You can only see these 100+ foot falls every few years when the snow fall is high enough.

It is the result of flooding when the snow melts in the mountains, so you drive along and basically drive right up to it. Then you hike around to get to this vantage point. It only runs for a few weeks out of the year and only every few years when we've had enough snow.
