We took Florence out for an early birthday supper at a Restaurant named the Red Barn on April 29th...

One interesting coincident occurred while we were there..My husband happened to notice on the front of the menu folder that there was a picture inserted of a rustic red barn...The owner of this barn pictured in the menu turned out to be Florence's nephew. Then we learned the waitress, Amanda, who waited on us had shot the picture of the barn featured and she also had pictures on display of the barn hanging on the wall of the restaurant.... She told us she is a college student minoring in photography..

We had a wonderful meal and then Florence invited us to her house where she served a rhubarb dessert after we played a game of Scrabble. This is a candid shot I caught of her after she lit the candle and was blowing out the match.

Florence used to be my husband's meat wrapper in the grocery store where he was the meat cutter before he retired..She is still working part time in the same store (different owner) in the produce department. Very amazing lady who we deeply admire and love..
