He was right above my door. The little bit of white on the far right is our roof edge/gutter. He was under the gutter when I spotted him. I saw his mess on the porch and got the flashlight to see if we had a bird nest. It didn't look like a nest but looked too big to be a bird. My dd said it was an owl and sure enough she was right. I took one shot with my kit lens because it is what I already had attached but ran back in the house and grabbed my zoom lens.

I wish I had been fast enough to catch the shot when he started to fly. I think he attacked a bird in that tree and then I lost him.
