This one is small, I think it might be a juvenile. I took quite a few photos of it and the bird gave me many angles to take photos of it, not seeming to mind me taking so many photos. It was a wonderful experience.

Thanks to Judy Wannamaker, I now have the correct identity of this bird. I was at least in the right family when I thought it was a juvenile great blue heron!

Great shot. I admire those that get good bird photos. I finally gave up on trying to shoot birds. Seagulls are the only ones I can get close enough to photograph.Maybe someday I'll find more patience.
