From whence come wars and fightings among you? Come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?

James 4:1

---------------------------------------

This sweet chipmunk must have felt lonely today because she allowed me to get right up next to her outside to take her picture. and believe me that normally does not happen. They are usually very nervous and skittish creatures...Most of my pictures of chipmunks have been through a window...She was a cutie and she was not afraid of the camera. She was listening to me speak to her when I shot this image and she had been filling her cheek pouches with sunflower seeds as you can see.

There are many of us at JPG who are missing the members in the community that took their site down. They were not only friends, but they put their whole heart and soul into their work. I wish them all my blessings... This page is dedicated to these fine people..... We all feel a sense of loss...and it seems different without them...

JPG holds many fond memories for me when I signed up as a member... It was a close knit community and we shared a lot of
laughter with our love for photography, plus we learned from each
other...That is a rare commodity to find in a site this size and I wish there would not have been division that caused some to leave but that there would instead be more of a vision for peace and harmony in the world...This is what our photography needs to embrace...

Thats because it is different, and we don't have to like the changes that are here. But I do like this shot...wish I could get this close to the little one that lives around here. I named him Smokey.

Thank you Betty.. It is almost like a ghost town but I do feel the presence

of these members and all the good memories that will forever be

remembered...They should still be here and I feel there is a noticeable

    void without them.

Such a beautiful and perfect sentiment. I too am "grieving" over the loss of our JPG friends...kind of like a death in the family ! Your little chipmunk sure is a real chubby fellow...my Alvin is very slender.

How sweet this chipmunk is with those puffy cheeks!!! It is sad about JPG. I too feel a loss and I feel in limbo, neither here or somewhere else with my photography now!

Absolutely adorable shot! I feel pretty down about the destruction of this community too. I haven't been a member that long, but I was starting to meet some really great people, and now they're gone. I also feel very disturbed that some people actually have the nerve to call pornography "art". I'm having an argument with a JPGer who calls himself a Christian, yet he thinks there's nothing wrong with pictures like the one that started all the hoopla here. (http://jpgmag.com/photos/2461662)

Such a feel good shot and wonderful tribute, Andrea. Yes, sad over all the dear friends who left JPG, but thankful for the good times we shared and over the number of us who remain. Soon plan to upload a personal post on all of this.

Thank you everyone...I might be one of the oldest members here and if there is one thing I have learned in this field of work is that we need to be a philosopher as well as a photographer...Life is about making right choices and decisions..We cannot live someone elses life for them but we can set an example of light and insight for peace...and to keep the candle of inspiration burning until God calls us to our eternal home.
