He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding; but he
that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly...Proverbs 14:29
--------------------------------------
Speed checks
May stop wrecks
If not ignored
By road rage
Whatever the age,
Quick to wrath
Or the bored,
Along its path,
Daring to exceed
The limited speed
Of twenty-five...
Being a good sport
Means slow down,
While still alive...
Don't end life short
Neath' the ground...
Poetry by me AJP
-------------------------------------
Ironically this speed check sits right by a cemetery that we go past on our way to town... As we stopped on the side of the road, long enough to take a picture someone drove past a little faster than the speed limit required and the digital letters on the sign signaled Slow Down..

We have a lot of these portable slow down trailers around here also. Some are permanent and they post the speed limit and the speed that you are going. If you are over the limit, it flashes "Slow Down".
