Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

A dancer is given the mark of the crucifix using wet rice flour during the Guling-Guling festival, held Feb. 24, a day before Ash Wednesday in the town of Paoay, Northern Philippines. The townfolks revel in street dancing and feast on native delicacies as they welcome the Lenten season. Paoay is home to the UNESCO heritage site of the centuries-old San Agustin church.
