Upon entering the main piazza within the walled-in historical village of Bagnaia, located in the Italian region of Lazio, this wall immediately grabbed my attention. This town is famous for 16th century Villa Lante, one of Italy’s finest Renaissance gardens.

Shadow play is one of my favorite things within photography - good light and shadowplay here, and I love those fine cast shadows in the bottom of the frame, they almost look like upside down wine glasses.
