While visiting/exploring Fort Atkinson in Fort Calhoun Nebraska, I came across the Bake oven for the fort, It had a large scary looking spider inside that didnt seem to mind me taking several photographs. This one is of Sidd the Travelin Buddha positioned far back in the oven with sunlight falling over the right side of the Buddha. A passage from the Dhammapada (Words of Wisdom) tell us thisBy degrees, little by little, from moment to moment, a wise man removes his own impurities, as a smith removes the dross of silver. What this passage says is that enlightenmen does not come overnight, it has to be obtained through diligence and determination, one must remove the impurities within little by little, this also does not take overnight, ,
Never loose hope or give up.
