Lake Lonsdale, is a rather shallow lake with a large surface area. Its water level varies but, in wet years, it is a good fishing spot, from either bank or boat. It is also a popular waterskiing lake with boat ramps, sand dunes and bushcamping.
It is one of several tranquil lakes at the base of the Grampians National Park with wildlife in abundance and panoramic views, a hidden treasure rarely seen by International visitors.
