Good News: This is my first nude shot.
Bad News: It's one of my daughters' headless Barbie dolls.
The shot was done with the doll laying in the Styrofoam lid to a box of steaks. I poured water on the dry ice and it enhanced the bokeh with a dreamy, ethereal quality. The result made me think about when you're being pulled out of a deep sleep and you're trying to hang on to your dream, but just can't do it.
In the Inception to Execution photo essay.
