Two baby ducks have hatched, one egg is left on the nest and the drake is kept very busy collecting food for everyone.

    JanElle, this is a nice shot, perfectly framed, with the grass adding real depth and dimension. I am strictly point-and-shoot guy with no skills, but I think I would have boosted the color a little with this shot. I have Picasa uploaded, so I might have accomplished that goal by adding some saturation or some contrast or have left the program to make automatic adjustments. Just a thought. Keep us posted on how the little family does.

    Thank you Richard. I agree with you. It might just have brought the ducks into a little better focus too. I was concerned about presenting this shot actually, because the water was so choppy it seemed as though the little birds were being obscured by the waves. Thanks for your suggestion and I will definitely consider this for future shots!!
