This photo was taken in Mazatlan, Mexico at 6:54 am. I don't recall the name of the hotel, it may be the Oceano Palace. I first noticed this building the day before when the sun was high and there were no shadow, the building looked plain. When I came upon the same scene again this time highlighted by the morning sun the building seemed to come alive.
