mig gave me this umbrella as a gift a long time ago. i hate umbrellas, for multiple reasons. but today when we got out of the car with our cameras, i grabbed it. the sky isn't trickery--this is, again, what you get when you stack a cheap wide angle onto a nice 85mm that doesn't know why you're doing this to it. there was a sweet couple, posing for an engagement photo, and their photographer shyly approached me to ask if the bride, who loved pink and polka dots, could borrow my umbrella. she really loved it, so i left it with her as a wedding gift, along with our business card. if she sees this, i hope she'll write to us at 2winfocus@gmail.com so i can send her a few of the precious shots i took of them. in the meantime, goodbye, beautiful umbrella--i love you.
