An Afghan soldier pulls security for a US lead patrol to Kamdesh, a village in the Nuristan province of Afghanistan. Winter 2006, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom VII. US and Afghan Army soldiers work side by side to rebuild the war torn country.

You take amazing photos, and this shot proves it! the soldier's eyes are haunting and the snow brings out the adversity that soldiers must endure on the front. Awesome photo!
