Pit crew by the fourth turn working on a pure stock car (must be post 1950's American car, all parts, including the body, standard for a street car [e.g. no performance parts] - hence the "pure" designation) that just came off the track from a heat. The pit is one big buzzing social scene full of crews, drivers, owners, their family, friends and supporters, and so on. My uncle (lower right) is a L.V. hall of famer, having been involved in many aspects of the Lebanon Valley racing scene for years and racing in general since he was a teenager. He seems to know everybody in the whole huge pit, and introduced me around while I shot and enjoyed the unique insider's view of the races going on around us.
