I got to scrub in and photograph my wife's Breast Augmentation surgery this past Spring. This photo shows the surgeon lifting the right breast before inserting the implant underneath the muscle, below the breast.

Eva... With all the breast cancer around, it is all the more reason for women of all ages to celebrate and enjoy their breasts, be they natural or augmented. I am the one photographed here, and I had a friend who a year or so before I decided to do the surgery, had to undergo a double mastectomey due to breast cancer. She had her breasts reconstructed, and was one of my biggest encouragers when I was debating whether or not to do it. With her newly increased zest for life and womanhood as a survivor, she cheered me on the whole way.
So lighten up a little, and let people enjoy the bodies God gave them... And the abilities God gave surgeons! : )

Thank God for implants. I had a mastectomy two years ago due to breast cancer and had breast reconstruction. I'm glad I had the option available. Great shot.

I wish my grandma could afford this :(
I hate seeing her with a flat chest and no hair on her head. -
Jason Hudson said (21 Nov 2008):
Luis, if you are bothered by your Grandmother's flat chest, maybe all of your family could pitch in for this surgery for her for Christmas. It would make a gift she would never forget!

Susan, I'm glad you "get it!" God gave is talents and abilities for a reason. Being able to do this for a post-cancer reason is wonderful, as is the ability to have this done to make one feel better about one's self!

Excellent shot. I too 'get it'. Aside from that, I couldn't believe some of the comments here. Kori, good for you; and good for you for taking your response above where you did. I'd have been tempted to go in another direction altogether.-- You two seem like a great couple and you certainly both have a great gift for photography! Keep it up!
