Fès, Morocco. Tanning is the process of converting putrescible skin into non-putrescible leather, usually with tannin, an acidic chemical compound that prevents decomposition and often imparts color.

    nice pic, but this activity is one of the most dangerous for all the environment/nature around, putting lots of pollution in the rivers, in the soil, where it remains for years, all this for sold leather jacket to western peoples (rich ones)
