Dying Soldier
God Bless The Queen
Through these images do I want to provoke stress or shock?
The answer is yes! I want it to show the reality of living in, or with constant pain, the fact that these ex soldiers are forgotten, and the fact that they do not enjoy their retirement, as they should like any other civilian. They risked their life’s for their believes and country, and if they are lucky to age, how do they live, how do they survive one shock after another.
Their lives are wounded beyond the physical evidence of incapability’s of every day tasks, easy to be achieved by any healthy civilian, for them is a challenge, a tiring process from early morning, starting the day, but they learnt to survive.
In the Dying Soldier / God Bless The Queen photo essay.
