Les Barkley, when and how long did you stay? Yes we have sunshine once in a while :-) And for that matter quite often this summer. You just have to try again soma day.

We were there the last week in June. There was a brief period of what might have been sunlight, but we weren't sure. :)

Hehehehe, well we have had a very good sommer this year, warm and sunny, obviously except for one week in june.

Well maybe not, but Iceland is not about the weather, we can have 4 different weathers in one day, sun, rain, snow and wind, one after the other, all in the same day. Iceland is about the nature, the force of eruptions, glaciers, waterfalls, ocean, wind and weathers and we just dress accordingly. I just came home from the heath called Kaldidalur (Cold Valley) and believe me it was cold, only 4°C up there.

Hope you will try to vicit Iceland again some day.
