This is one of Antoni Gaudí's most revered monuments to great design and ergonomics (before anyone even called it that) in Barcelona.
This light well is one of the building's most imposing features and yet few images of the building show its full effect. Delivering this image in mono shows how ingeniously the light spills into the house, reflecting from the tiled walls and using tiered windows to allow more light into lower floors.
Gaudí truly outdid himself here.
