Without a dressing room to use, John Gilstrap, a bullfighter (rodeo clown), finishes his makeup in the men's room at the coliseum in Winston-Salem, NC as others come and go about their business. Part of a story on the rodeo clowns in town for several days of a rodeo. 1985.

Love this image. So unique! It disturbs me a little bit because I feel there's a sad story behind it, though it is not evident as when one looks at images of misery in Africa or war victims in Afghanistan.
This image makes my imagination work. -
