I loved the colorful houses that fill the streets of Bo Kaap in Capetown. The buildings have the Dutch style architecture, but this area has a strong Muslim influence in terms of its inhabitants.
During the apartheid era, Bo-Kaap was declared an exclusively Cape Muslim residential area, and people of other religions and ethnicity were forced to leave.
