Thou tellest my wanderings: Put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book? Psalms 56: 8
The blue shampoo
Awaits a customer or two
Hoping someone will stop
In his beauty shop
For a cut and style,
At Great Clips....
Tho' he puts on a smile
To drum up business,
Plus lots of tips...
He's not having a blast.
The cars just drive past...
Full speed ahead...
Not even one head
(With or without hair)
Turned in his direction
On this busy thoroughfare
To cross over the line
At that intersection.
Nor do they see his sign...
Boo hoo
Poor blue shampoo!
Poetry by me, AJP
Of course I am joking...the blue shampoo naturally stood out like a sore thumb...You couldn't help but see him and I am sure he drummed up a lot of business by the side of the highway for Great Clips yesterday......

Although I did feel sorry for him as it was getting muggy outside and I can well imagine how hot it felt stuck inside of that costume. He was probably sweating real tears inside of his bottle.

Wonderful, colorful find Andrea!! I would think in all the heat he had a real case of the "blues." Very nicely done!!!

LOL.....wonderful capture! The best thing about being in the costume is that no one knows it's you!! But you're right....I do feel sorry for them, it must be terribly hot. I guess every job is only as fun as you make it.

I love it! I know the poor fellow must be sweltering under that costume. Glad this was not in the South!

A job's a job! Especially in these trying times. Way to keep your eyes open and camera handy (well, I guess it really wasn't too hard to spot this character...but no camera, no picture.) Good job.
