I captured this within Montepulciano’s Chiesa del Gesu, a 17th century church with an exterior similar to that Tuscan town’s duomo. Like that cathedral, the rough and drab façade appears to hide the beauty of the baroque interior. Chiesa del Gesu was originally designed by Giovan Battista and later revised by Andrea Pozzo.
