Even at high shutter speed, this hummingbird moth is hard to capture without blurs. I was using a fully manual lens and having a terrible time catching just the right moment!
Thanks to Betty Maxey for providing the correct name of the insect!

    But I love this photo... it shows movement as opposed to him just sitting on the flower. The colors are fabulous and contrast beautifully. You should be proud

    This is an awesome capture of such a fast moving insect! I have seen these hummingbird moths and they do move extremely fast!!!

    Great capture! The first time I seen one of these was near Yellowstone everyone thought it was a hummingbird. They are hard to stop motion on, nice work!
