Shaun, metering was just the good old center-weighted average. I guess the only other technical info worth mentioning is that this was a color photo, but it had such intense reds, pinks, yellows etc. that they drew the eye to individual units, rather than the overall structure of the image and the tones and textures. So I converted to b/w using the Photoshop Channel Mixer. I hope that's useful!

Great shot !! In the 1970s, I used to go to a pub in Manchester, England, called "Tommy Ducks", right by the old Central Station, which is now G-Mex or whatever they've changed its name to this time (LOL) ...... anyway, the ceiling in Tommy Ducks was COVERED in pairs of knickers, ,just like in this photo, which had been donated by customers over the years (I think even left a pair of mine LOL) Anyway Tommy Ducks is long gone - I wonder what they did with all those knickers ???!!!!!!
