Being a photojournalist, I carry my gear wherever I go. I was waiting for a friend in the Mall, So I decided to sit down and discretly take out my Nikon D300S with a Nikon 80-200 2.8 lens. You have to get permission in the Mall. All I did was put the camera on my knee and just estimated the partial area of this skylight. I was trying to get the triangle. I never looked through the camera. When I left the Mall I saw what I got. I must say it was a cloudy bright sky so I increased saturation and contrast in Photoshop which gave this image a bit of a painted look. I must say I was pretty amazed at myself, especially using a long lens such as the 80-200. Experience is what made this photo!
