Awesome project? History in the making? Report in!

I spotted this Hummingbird Moth and managed to get a few shots of him. I think he was in a hurry to finish his meal and Winky and I had definitely interrupted him. This was taken at Harrison Lake in Charles City, VA.

Awesome photo, these moths are very hard to capture - I have them here sometimes and they usually fly off as soon as they see me. I love that red blur of the wings and the suspenders!
