A mother Morning Dove watches over her young one while perched
on a metal clothesline. The sun was just right. It was very strong backlight but I love the detail in the feathers and shooting wide open gave me the background I wanted, out of focus bringing
your attention to the baby Morning Dove. I off set the mother basically just using her as a prop. Her beak
facing downward makes for a nice vertical. I just shot this yesterday while the sun was going down. I used a 300 mm 2.8 for this one. I also liked the halo effect around the baby dove.
