A lovely butterfly pea. I saw lots of them along the Ocmulgee Indian Mounds trail in Macon, GA. It makes such a beautiful contrast with the decaying forest matter and the green foliage.

This is stunning! I am curious...Did the plants name derive from the fact that butterflies are partial to it? Actually it even resembles a butterfly with outstretched wings.....Beautifully photographed!
