Nuristan, Afghanistan, September 2006. SPC Hilawe Muluneh provides security for Blackhawk helicopters on an improvised landing zone on a remote mountaintop. SPC Muluneh, native to Ethiopia, was granted US citizenship weeks prior to redeploying to the United States.
