Here is a photograph of the 2nd group of Sidd's emanations entitled The Trinity 2.
These Buddhas with the bumps on the head are snails and this style of Buddha is known as the Thousand Martyr Buddha and are Vietnamese in origin. As legend has it, the Buddha was contemplating life and all that is during one hot and sunny day, and in order to protect the World Honored One, a thousand snails gathered upon his head in order to protect the Buddha from the heat and the sun. The small Buddha on the left is a ceramic form and is hollow, I have used him as an oil lamp as one can see a tine wick coming forth from the top of the head. The middle Buddha is a larger cement bust that is me good friend Victoria's. and the Buddha on the far right is a Buddha I found at a Kohls department store some years ago.
