Stiles Courthouse

The old Stiles Courthouse was built in 1911 of native stone quarried from a hillside a half mile from the site and hauled by mule drawn wagons. Once the pride of the county it was abandoned when the county seat moved in 1925 and now sits alone and continues to deteriorate in Regan County, TX.

Another really great photo from you. Make one wonder just how many people stepped through that portal over the years. And do like the descriptive caption you added, telling us about it. Liiking forward to seeing more of your work here... like the doorknob shot maybe?
