2 on a Bench
Another candid from Cambridge, MA. I saw them, and felt like I had to make a photo. As soon as I asked, the gentleman got all smiley and chuckley and said "why sure!" The woman smiled and began smoothing unnecessary wrinkles on her dress. But somehow her face went back to being aloof between her initial smile and my snap.
Not entirely pleased with the over-exposedness, and there's not much I can do because I didn't shoot it raw... but I just love their expressions.

It works all the way around - the exposure contrasts help to make them the focal point.

You're right about the exposure, but what Max said is right. Her expression is fabulous. Both great subjects.

wonderful! I'd hang it on my wall. A tiny bit of vignetting could really add to this, just an idea :)

That is what struck me about this photo. They are sitting so close. It is sweet. Quite a capture for you.
