It was raining and was fairly poor weather to shoot in during my entire time in Mexico. On the second to last morning I knew there was going to be a morning storm, but got up extra early just to see if I could see some daylight during sunrise. So I got up at 5:00 a.m. and started walking the beach. Over the next two hours, I'd capture a series of just breathtaking sunrise scenes. It just amazed me how much the great body of water and the sky could change and take on so many different aspects in such a short time.
