n 1977, near Drummondville Quebec, someone had the wonderful idea of recreating a village of yester year. Since that time the Village d'Antan has been open to the public who wish to see what a typical French Canadian village looked like between 1810 and 1910. All of the buildings on the site were moved to the site from different villages near Drummondville and each house has a vocation. It is open year round but it is best to try to visit during the Summer months. This is the continuation of my homage to Lee Friedlander.
