The Lord is righteous in all His ways, and holy in all His works....Psalm 145: 17

I shot this with one of my old film lenses at 7:30 PM ... This was shot with with my 105 Nikkor lens that I previously used with my Nikon FE2 camera before I went digital. It works with my Nikon D40X.

What I love about this lens is that it opens up to F/ 2.5 so that I can take decent night pictures...I bought my used FE2 Nikon camera several years ago from a professional photographer and the lenses came with the deal.. I am going to
start using these older film lenses more and more with my digital camera because even though they are heavier than my regular digital lenses and can only be used manually, they are sharp lenses...but of course I will have to focus precisely and do some experimenting to get the right exposures. Truthfully, I haven't always been satisfied with my digital lenses as I don't think they are as sharp as they could be, but then maybe that's partly my fault for failing to use the right exposures... The digital lenses have their advantages too because they are not as heavy as the film lenses...

This is truly beautiful and such a nice exposure! I'll have to see if my N65 lens will fit my digital.

Gorgeous. Perfect lighting. Love how the one bloom appears shy and the other the opposite.

The clarity is amazing on this, Andrea! You are right about the sharpness. Excellent capture. It looks almost 3D
