What a perfect title. Takes me back to my beach days, waiting for school to start ... course, that's before summer ends, not the Equinox. So, metaphorical or literal, excellent piece of photography! And somehow better for being in b&w!

Goodbye and hello. I was always sad saying goodbye to summer. I was always excited to say hello to a new school year and new beginnings. That never happened. This photo is quite poignant.
