My wife and I recently traveled to Peru for to see the legendary Incan ruins of Machu Picchu. It was a breathtaking site. We were fortunate enough to visit the ruins for two days. In the evening and early morning most of the other tourists were gone, making the ruins appear even more surreal and magical. It was during this time that I was able to take this photograph of the sun rising over the mountains, illuminating the sky and the ruins, without having a single person in the photo.
