What It Was Like to Capture the Aftermath of the...

The setting of my favorite kind of story develops into a strong character. This is among my favorite location images of the televised main event of 2010 Italian International Equestrian Grand Prix, held yearly at Borgo La Bagnaia, the five-star Tuscan resort near Siena, where my husband worked for about two years. The morning of that day started out very wet. It poured for hours. Then just before the final of that championship got underway the rain stopped. Captured this shot shortly after the end of the event.

Beautiful composition, Deb! The tents appear to open the way to the beautiful distant landscape. The people in the wonderful red chairs seem to be enjoying the landscape, along with the equestrian event. The sky is stunning. Excellent capture.
