I am holding a jewelry box that I rescued from my mother's estate sale after she went to the rest home this summer...It did not sell and since I was with her when she bought it, years ago, I was happy to retrieve it. The dressing table in the bedroom upstairs is the perfect place to display it.
I need to go through two big boxes of photographs that I brought back from my mother's apartment that I am storing up in this guest bedroom too...This bedroom ends up as a store room to keep my keepsakes that may not have too much monetary value but they are only of interest to me...I call it my bedroom even though we don't sleep in it ourselves.

Oh, Andrea, this is so touching and beautiful!! I went through the same ordeal when my parents entered a nursing home several years ago with an estate sale. It is heartbreaking (or it was for me). I love this photo...it has such great significance and meaning. Bless you!!!
