This picture reminds me of a talk given by a Hindu Priest. The ocassion was a funeral for a wife. He spoke of the river and - like two leaves- that will join together and travel the river together for some time. Sometimes they travel together a long time and sometimes only a short time. There will come a time, never the less, when they will part. Life is like the river and the leaves are us. The picture took me to that talk many years ago. Thank you. Yes, we are all passerbys. Enjoy life and make the most of it while you can. Now sadly, both of my Hindu friends are gone. The husband followed his wife 10 years later.
