There are some rock formations in the dessert around the city of Riyadh, which have almost vertical, huge slope. Some friends called them 'the Edge of the World'.

This is one of them, located only 15 minutes away from the check point on the city border on the road from Riyadh to Mecca.

More amazing rock formations are located deep in the dessert, which may take 3-5 hours of driving across the land of sand.

Unfortunately we got some dust storm.
