You can't claim yourself as one of the grain baskets of the world without having to build hideous concrete grain elevators all over the place. These are a bit of a nod in John Vanderpant's direction, whether consciously or not.
Sadly I missed getting a good shot of another piece of Canadiana in the form of many igloo-like building that are used to store salt to use on the roads during the long winters. These are all over the place.
